Experimenting With Different Colours and Ideas

Looking back at my first design and the attempt at it I didn’t think the lace effect stood out as much as I would like it too. I decided to see if the lace would come out better in black and maybe look a bit more dramatic. I feel that the first design was slightly too soft.

In this design I also done the base white too see if that helped the orange on the eyelids stand out more.

I did exactly the same on the eyelids and the eyelashes and brows as last time, which I talked about in my last blog. 

I used the black in the supra colour pallet to create the lace effect around the face. I really like this effect but I still think I like the white more because it shows lace effect better compared to using the black.

I also think using the white base takes away from the eyelashes and the eyebrows as they just blend in to the base. I think I’m going to do a normal foundation base and then build up the colour on top of that. 

I’m going to experiment using the lace effect again but with a different colour under it because I really want that to stand out on the face, as it’s the main feature of my design.
